Here are some photos from yesterday’s A&W PJ Drive-in Classic Car Meet organised by MYClassicCars.
We were at the A&W Drive-In Classic Car meet yesterday for a short while and snapped a few photos. We’ve uploaded a gallery of them here for posterity roughly organised by country of origin. Apologies as this gallery is not extensive. We arrived close to when people were leaving and the heat was very intense.
Japanese Cars
We missed a few really great cars from Japan including a couple of 3rd generation Preludes that were parked near the side of the lot. There was also a KE70 in this area.

Malaysian Cars
Nice to see some made-in-Malaysia pride. There were at least 2 Satria GTIs present as well as a Perdana limo.

British Cars
British cars were a little under-represented this time but there were a healthy number of MINIs and at least one Lotus.

American Cars
American cars made up the bulk of the show and really stole the show. The 1950s-60s retro Americana vibe created as these cars drove past the front of the A&W was undeniable. The Ford Falcon (in black) is up for sale and is probably the most practical of the lot to maintain and run.

French Cars
French cars had a very decent showing with a Peugeot 504 parked near the front that I missed.

Swedish Cars
The Volvo C70 coupé, 240 wagon and Saab 900 Turbo were personal favourites.

German Cars
German cars obviously made up the bulk of the showing. Porsches, Mercedes-Benzes, VWs (including 2 first gen Sciroccos not pictured and a Corrado) and your BMWs/Alpinas.

Italian Cars
There weren’t any Italian supercars nor any Lancias or Fiats when I arrived but at least 2 Alfas were there.

The crowd was fairly large and the attendants behaves well, very little in the way of rowdy behavior but of course a few bad apples.
