Following a successful 2025 where the company sold over 72,000 units, the brand is shifting gears to focus on sustainable growth, advanced electrification, and a “Fun to Drive” philosophy that resonates with modern Malaysian motorists.

A major highlight of the 2026 agenda is the introduction of the S+ Shift hybrid technology via the new Honda Prelude set to be launched in Malaysia later this year. This marks a significant evolution for Honda’s e:HEV lineup, moving beyond simple efficiency to prioritize driver engagement. The S+ Shift system is engineered to deliver a more dynamic and rewarding gear-shift feel, providing an instant emotional connection between the driver and the vehicle. To achieve its baseline sales target of 60,000 units, Honda Malaysia will launch six new models throughout the year.
