The upcoming Jetour T1 has been given 5-stars from ASEAN NCAP.
The Jetour T1 has officially achieved a 5-star ASEAN NCAP rating, solidifying Jetour’s reputation for safety in the Southeast Asian market. Following the evaluation of the larger T2 model, the rugged compact crossover T1 underwent rigorous testing at the end of 2025 under the 2021-2025 assessment protocol.
Exceptional Safety Performance
The Jetour T1 earned its 5-star distinction with an impressive total score of 87.67 points. The evaluation was based on four critical safety pillars:
- Adult Occupant Protection (AOP): 38.09 points.
- Child Occupant Protection (COP): 16.18 points.
- Safety Assist (SA): 17.14 points.
- Motorcyclist Safety (MS): 16.25 points.
This achievement marks the conclusion of the 2021-2025 roadmap, with ASEAN NCAP transitioning to a new 2026-2030 protocol starting this year.
Comprehensive Standard Safety Features
To ensure maximum protection for all passengers, Jetour has equipped every variant of the T1 with a robust array of standard safety technologies. These include:
- Airbags & Stability: Six airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and Electronic Stability Control (ESC).
- Occupant Detection: Seatbelt Reminder System (SBR) for front and rear seats, rear seat detection, and Child Presence Detection (CPD).
- Child Safety: ISOFIX anchors for secure child seat installation.
- Visibility: Blind Spot Detection (BSD) for both sides and Pedestrian Protection (PP).
