Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has officially introduced the new GLA Nightfall Edition, a locally assembled special version that combines a comprehensive equipment package with distinctive, darker design elements.
The Mercedes-Benz GLA remains a cornerstone of the brand’s local success, and the new Nightfall Edition adds a fresh, alluring appeal to the lineup. Available in two variants—the GLA 200 and the GLA 250 4MATIC—this edition is designed for customers seeking a seamless blend of sporty aesthetics and everyday versatility.
Exterior: Sporty Proportions and Darkened Details
The Nightfall Edition is defined by its confident stance, highlighted by the Night Package. This styling suite adds high-gloss black accents to the radiator grille and other key exterior elements.
The two variants are further distinguished by their wheels and lighting technology:
- GLA 200 Nightfall Edition: Rides on 19-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels and features LED High Performance headlamps.
- GLA 250 4MATIC Nightfall Edition: Features larger 20-inch AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels and is enhanced with MULTIBEAM LED technology, which includes intelligent light modes and ULTRA RANGE high beam for superior visibility.
Interior: High-Tech Ambience and Comfort
Inside, the GLA Nightfall Edition mirrors its sporty exterior with an AMG Line interior. The cabin is upholstered in ARTICO man-made leather and MICROCUT microfibre in black, accented by grey contrasting topstitching and light longitudinal-grain aluminium trim.
Technological sophistication is at the forefront with the MBUX multimedia system, featuring a 10.25-inch instrument display and a matching 10.25-inch touchscreen. Driver convenience is bolstered by the Parking Package with a 360° camera, which includes Active Parking Assist to help drivers navigate tight spaces with ease.
Performance and Pricing
Both variants deliver a refined driving experience supported by a lowered comfort suspension and a sports brake system.
- The GLA 200 is powered by a 1,332 cc engine producing 163 hp and 270 Nm of torque.
- The GLA 250 4MATIC features a 1,991 cc engine delivering 224 hp and 350 Nm, further aided by a 48V belt-driven starter alternator that provides an additional 10 kW of power.
The locally assembled models are priced at RM 258,888 for the GLA 200 and RM 295,888 for the GLA 250 4MATIC (on-the-road without insurance).

To support prospective owners, Mercedes-Benz Financial offers the Step Up Agility+ Plan. This programme provides lower monthly instalments, flexible end-of-agreement options, and a guaranteed future value for the vehicle.
