For the first time on the Maybach S-Class, the Maybach name is subtly illuminated within the grille. The twin‑star design headlamps are accentuated by rose gold touches. 20- and 21-inch Maybach forged wheels with a silver finish now feature a perfectly aligned Mercedes‑Benz star at the center of the wheel. A sophisticated suite of sensors and a powerful new computing architecture supports advanced driver and parking assistance technologies3 including Digital Extra: MB.DRIVE ASSIST PRO2,4. The “CITY PRO” feature that enables seamless point‑to‑point navigation will be available at a later date via over-the-air updates.

Mercedes-Maybach S-Class V12 (S 680) Powertrain Details

The S 680 uses a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine. It delivers extreme power (612 bhp, 900 Nm), capable of 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. While V12 availability is limited by, it remains a hallmark of the S 680, especially in certain high-demand markets.

It features an increased wheelbase and length, with special forged Maybach wheels. The “Night Edition” includes specialized dark styling elements. Known for its “sanctuary” feel, the cabin offers executive seats with extensive adjustment, automated rear doors, a refrigerator, and extensive Burmester audio, as seen in the Mercedes-Benz YouTube channel.

It competes as a top-tier luxury vehicle with prices in Malaysia possibly reaching RM1.99  to 2.2 Million.
