Meet the SAIC or also known as ‘Shangjie’ Z7 and Z7T which are 2 brand new electric cars coming with 5 technologies from Huawei, 905 km range and driving performance that will put the all new BMW i3, Xiaomi and Tesla under pressure in coming months.
The Shangjie brand, in cooperation with SAIC and Huawei, has officially launched the pre-order phase for both the Shangjie Z7 Sedan and the Shangzie Z7T Shooting Break model, in a move that clearly reveals that the battle within China’s mid-to-large electric car category has entered a new level of escalation.
Both cars do not just offer a sexy design or powerful performance numbers, but they rely on an integrated package that combines long-range, advanced Huawei smart drive system, high-voltage battery structure, comfort fixtures and compact technologies that target the young user directly.
Initially advertised prices start at 229,800 for the Shangjie Z7, which is approximately USD32,829 US dollars while the Shangjia Z7T starts at 239,800 Chinese yuan, which is approximately USD34,257 US dollars. The pre-order benefits are priced at 11,000 Chinese yuan, about 1,571 US Dollars, including 5,000 yuan of additional optional benefits, along with 6,000 yuan worth of special external colors available free for a limited time.
Both cars are equipped with Huawei Qiankun ADS 4.1 for intelligent driving, Huawea Tuling dynamic control platform, Huaweu Giant Whale battery platform alongside the HarmonyOS camera system. Both cars are currently available at the following starting prices.
