The official handover ceremony in Kuala Lumpur marks the beginning of many ownership journeys for the TQ WULING Bingo EV. Locally assembled at the Tan Chong Group’s facility in Segambut, the first batch of owners highlighted the vehicle’s retro-modern design, urban agility, and the peace of mind provided by Tan Chong’s extensive heritage in the Malaysian automotive landscape.
Raising the Safety Bar with Standard ADAS
In a strategic move to prioritize driver protection, TQ WULING has made its Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite standard across all Bingo EV variants. This ensures that every owner, from the entry-level model upwards, benefits from intelligent safety features usually reserved for premium segments.
The comprehensive ADAS suite includes:
- Blind Spot Warning and Lane Change Assist
- Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Rear Collision Warning
- Door Opening Warning and Low-Speed Pedestrian Warning
- Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
Additionally, the Bingo EV is the first in its class to receive an enhanced six-airbag configuration in Malaysia, supported by a high-tensile steel structural frame.

Designed for the modern city dweller, the Bingo EV offers a functional interior with 15 storage compartments and a massive boot capacity of up to 1,240 litres. The cabin is anchored by a “floating-island” console featuring dual 10.25-inch digital displays with full Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration.
Performance-wise, the Bingo PRO offers a range of up to 333 km (CLTC), while the Bingo MAX extends that to 410 km (CLTC). Both models utilize the proprietary MAGIC EV Battery, which carries an IP68 waterproof rating and a global track record of zero fire incidents across millions of units sold worldwide.
