Five Vehicles Crashed In Changkat Cermin
Just two days ago a Chery Tiggo sports utility vehicle was reportedly destroyed almost 60 percent after being involved in a chain reaction accident involving five vehicles in Changkat Cermin, Ayer Tawar, Monday evening.
The incident, which happened around 4.55 pm, also resulted in injuries to a female driver, while four other individuals survived the incident without any physical injuries.
The Department of Fire and Rescue Malaysia (JBPM) Perak received an emergency call at 4.55 pm before deploying seven members from the Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) Ayer Tawar to the scene.
JBPM Perak Assistant Director Operations, Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said, the accident involved five vehicles namely, Chery Tiggo Burnt which was 60 Percent, A Proton X50 which was badly damaged, a Proton Inspira which was severly damaged and two Proton Wira cars.



A woman driving a Proton X50 reportedly suffered injuries to her hands and face from the impact of the collision.
The victim was successfully evacuated by the public who were on location and was immediately transported to the hospital for further treatment before the firefighters arrived. While four more victims from another vehicle managed to escape without any injuries.
Firefighters who arrived at the immediate location carried out extinguishing works on a Chery Tiggo SUV that was being licked on fire to prevent spread to other vehicles.
Extinguish using a single stream of auxiliary duct starting with a water source from the machinery tank. The fire was brought under control at 5.53 pm and operations were completely ended at 6.00 pm.
