Boon Siew Honda has officially introduced the new Honda RS150R, which is now available with a new colour scheme for this year. Known as Pearl Magellanic Black, the new colour will be sold alongside the existing Pearl Nightfall Blue, Candy Scintillate Red and the Repsol Edition.
“We realize that the RS150R is selected and even customized to suit its owners’ identity”, said Keiichi Yasuda, CEO of Boon Siew Honda.
“Therefore, the latest color visual for the new 2018 edition of Honda RS150R needs to be more imposing to complement its aggressive yet sublime looks.”
The RS150R continues to be powered by the Euro 3-compliant 150 cc single-cylinder DOHC engine that comes with liquid cooling system and PGM-FI (Programmed Fuel Injection). The engine churns out 15.6 PS at 9,000 rpm and 13.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm – all sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed transmission.
Cradling the engine is a twin-perimeter welded frame with telescopic forks up front, balanced by a single shock absorber at the rear. LED lighting is employed for the headlights, and a 4.5-litre fuel tank is located under the
seat.
The RS150R is priced at RM7,999 for the standard colours (black, blue and red) and RM8,299 for the Repsol Edition.
