Three children almost died when the car they were travelling in overturned and burned on the spot
Three children almost died when the car they were in turned over before burning in an incident in Kampung Keroh, near Kampung Kerah National Secondary School, Kuala Krai on Wednesday.
The Chief of Sungai Durian Fire and Rescue Station (BBP), Assistant Senior Firefighter II Zulhilmi Baharudin said, his party received an emergency call regarding the incident at about 4.52 pm and they rushed to the location a minute later.
According to him, upon arriving at the location, all three victims had successfully exited the burning Proton Saga car they were in.
“All of the victims with minor injuries managed to get out of the burning car prior to the arrival of firefighters,” he said when called on Wednesday.
It was mentioned that all three victims between the ages of 11 years and 15 years were understood to be on their way to Kuala Lumpur when suddenly their vehicle hit a road divider before overturning. Right after there were sparks and then it caught fire.
