Singapore Is Getting Southeast Asia’s 1st Porsche Experience Centre

Malaysia was passed up in favour of Singapore for the company’s 1st ASEAN Porsche Experience Centre.

While Malaysia gets the honour of being the first country in ASEAN to locally-assemble Porsche vehicles, it’s Singapore that takes the region’s first ever Porsche Experience Centre (PEC). This will be the 11th facility of its kind worldwide and is set to open in 2027 on a 14-hectare site beside Changi Airport. It also makes sense, as Porsche Asia Pacific is headquartered in Singapore and the island nation is in need of a track, even if it is just 2km long in this facility.

A Regional Hub for Driving Thrills and Brand Immersion

At the heart of the PEC Singapore will be the aforementioned 2km handling circuit, supported by dynamic features such as a drift circle, drift handling track, and off-road elements. Beyond the track, visitors will enjoy themed exhibitions, rotating displays of historic Porsche models from the Porsche Museum archives, state-of-the-art racing simulators, and diverse dining experiences—ensuring something for every visitor.

In a world-first for Porsche, the centre will also integrate a high-capacity Aftersales facility, enhancing the brand’s service offering in the region. Reflecting Singapore’s Green Plan 2030, sustainability will play a major role, with an electric vehicle fleet and eco-conscious infrastructure planned throughout the development.

Collaboration with Singapore Tourism Board and Changi Airport Group

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by senior representatives from Porsche Asia Pacific, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), and Changi Airport Group (CAG). Together, the partners aim to create a world-class attraction at the heart of Southeast Asia’s aviation hub.

Formalising a Strategic Partnership

Ahead of the ceremony, Porsche AG and Porsche Asia Pacific signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Changi Airport Group, aimed at integrating PEC Singapore into the broader Changi tourism precinct. The agreement includes exploring innovative visitor experiences and pioneering sustainable development initiatives.

Building on Porsche at Jewel

The new Experience Centre builds on Porsche’s growing presence in Singapore, following the recent opening of Porsche at Jewel, a permanent lifestyle and brand space within Jewel Changi Airport that combines curated exhibits, retail, and international dining.

When completed in 2027, the Porsche Experience Centre Singapore will stand as a regional hub for brand immersion, innovation, and customer engagement, reinforcing Porsche’s commitment to delivering world-class experiences in Southeast Asia.
