From launching high-performance AMGs to expanding its all-electric EQ lineup, the brand navigated 2025 with a clear strategy: delivering the “luxury of choice” while preparing for an even more dynamic 2026.

A Product Offensive: 11 New BEVs and Counting

The cornerstone of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s 2025 strategy was its diverse portfolio. By offering Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) models, the brand catered to every segment of the luxury market.

To date, the company has introduced 11 BEV models locally. Key highlights from the 2025 launch calendar include:

  • Ultra-Luxury: The all-electric Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV and the Mercedes-Maybach S 580 4MATIC Night Series.
  • High Performance: The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ Coupé, AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé, and the plug-in hybrid AMG SL 63 S E PERFORMANCE.
  • Core Models: The Mercedes-Benz C 200 AMG Line and GLC 200 4MATIC.
  • Electric Icons: The highly anticipated Mercedes-Benz G 580 with EQ Technology (the electric G-Wagon).

Strengthening the EV Ecosystem

Supporting this influx of electric vehicles, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia aggressively expanded its charging network. Through collaborations with Charge Point Operators like Gentari, EV Connection (JomCharge), DC Handal, and chargeEV, the brand has made charging more accessible nationwide.

In 2025, new co-branded charging stations were established at premium lifestyle destinations, including:

  • Bamboo Hills, Kuala Lumpur.
  • Eco Ardence, Setia Alam.
  • Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown.
  • Nilai Springs Golf & Country Club.

Elevating Customer Experience and Talent

Beyond the cars, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia focused on human capital and customer satisfaction. The company was recognised as the Champion of the Mercedes-Benz Global Customer Care Award, a testament to its operational excellence.

To sustain this high standard, the brand celebrated the graduation of 42 globally-certified technicians from its Advanced Modern Apprenticeship (AMA) Programme in 2025, ensuring that its service network remains world-class.

The brand also partnered with Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) to offer exclusive privileges to Enrich Platinum members and business travelers, including seamless airport transfers and curated rewards.

Corporate Citizenship: MobileKids and Beyond

Sustainability for Mercedes-Benz extends beyond tailpipe emissions. In partnership with the Nicol David Organisation (NDO), the company rolled out its MobileKids road safety education programme, empowering children with essential road safety skills. Additionally, the Grants for Good initiative provided financial support to NGOs and social enterprises, fostering grassroots solutions for environmental protection and social welfare.
