This toll discount will be implemented nationwide starting 12:01 AM on 18 March 2026, and will end at 11:59 PM on 19 March 2026
It applies exclusively to Class 1 private vehicles across most highways in the country.
In line with the government’s decision regarding the grant of 50% toll discount in conjunction with Aidilfitri celebrations for the year 2026, on 17 March 2026 the Highways Board of Malaysia (LLM) through the Toll Control Division, Mechanical and Electrical Division and Provincial Offices conducted site visits and operations monitoring at several toll plaza across the country.
This survey aims to monitor the readiness of the toll collection system by concession companies in implementing the 50% toll discount in conjunction with Aidilfitri celebrations for 2026 in order to be organized and smooth.
This initiative is given to users of private vehicles (Class 1) and private vehicles (Class 2) of the Penang Bridge (JPP) which will start at 00:00:01 midnight on 18 March 2026 (Wednesday) until 11:59:59 pm on 19 March 2026 (Thursday).
This step is taken to ensure that the users of the highway can enjoy discounted toll rates as announced by the Government.
