0The Korando Returns
The all new SsangYong Korando is specially designed to meet the needs of the European market but rest assured it will come to Competitive Supreme showrooms in Malaysia soon after right hand drive versions are ready in months for delivery. The crossover from SsangYong features 2WD and 4WD systems, 2.0 liter diesel engine, which blends efficient fuel economy and high performance. Korando also can be ordered with both – manual and automatic transmissions. Finally, it offers class-leading towing capacity of two tonnes.
Furthermore, Korando offers extreme safety featuring ESP, HBA, HSA, ARP, ESS, EPS and much more.
SsangYong Korando is powered by 2.0 litre e-XDi200 diesel engine with CDPF delivering 175PS at 4000RPM and 360Nm between 2000 and 3000RPM. The fuel consumption is very low for a crossover – it needs just 6.4 liter per 100km at combined cycle with manual transmission and 7.5 liter per 100km with automatic gearbox (AWD system). With 2WD the numbers are even lower 6.0 and 7.3 liter for 100km. Looks like this could well be a revival for the brand in Malaysia if the pricing is set right just like we have seen recently with their revised prices of the Stavic and Rexton.
