Mercedes and Renault In Possible Joint Venture

Mercedes executives are considering developing premium vehicles together with Renault. Renault is interested in the proposal as long as this is profitable for both parties. It sounds like a perfect plan, as Renault is already developing new premium products, such as the new Espace large MPV, which will be introduced on the market somewhere in 2014. And the new partnership will not be something new for Mercedes, as it already signed a deal to cooperate with Renault and Nissan in order to develop small cars, commercial vehicles but also new eco-powertrains. Moreover, the partnership with Mercedes also means that Renault will develop high quality cars in line with Mercedes-Benz.
