0Porsche Cayman Next Generation In 2013
There is a new Cayman on the way. The 2013 Porsche Cayman will make its world debut later this year at the 2012 LA Auto Show. The design like before will not be a big surprise as the nose will resemble the latest 2013 Boxster. However the new Cayman will feature a restyled rear end. The engines will be the same on the Boxster, which means that you will find a 2.7-liter engine delivering around 275 hp (in the Boxster the engine delivers 265 hp, however the Cayman is lighter and so will be a little more powerful than its open-top sibling). The 2013 Cayman S will get the 3.4-litre engine delivering around 325 hp. Performances will be about the same seen on the Boxster and Boxster S, a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and 5.0 seconds respectively. The engines will be available with a six-speed manual transmission, while the PDK will be available as an option. The Cayman S will offer the Sport Chrono Package as an option.
