0Ford Fiesta To Get Award Winning EcoBoost Engine
The Ford Fiesta will get the award winning outstanding Ecoboost turbocharged three-cylinder engine in its upcoming facelift. It reduces CO2 emissions by at least 10g/km when compared to the four-cylinder petrol engines that the current Fiesta uses. This engine also leads to savings in fuel economy. In addition, the engine offers a more energetic driving style and gives the Fiesta a nice-sounding three-cylinder engine note. The 1.0 Ecoboost is one of several engines in the Fiesta lineup that got a major revamp. The powerplants for the Fiesta-based B-Max mini-MPV also got upgrades. The revised Fiesta will also soon get a 73bhp 1.5 TDCi and a 93bhp 1.6 TDCi, the replacement for the 1.4 TDCi however these diesel engines will not see service in our region due to low quality diesel. These engines provide bigger power and lower CO2 emissions to the Fiestas with diesel engines. Styling will also be improved. It will be given the new grille and headlamps that the Fiesta ST already uses (see attached pictures).
