These ultimate chronograph watches inspired by the 1946 prestigious piece, embody the very best of past and present technology with their complexly decorated traditional movement with counters at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock and its 19th century-style engraved case back with gilded oscillation weight showing the foundation and anniversary dates of Tissot – 1853 and 2003. This limited edition collection was launched in 2003 to mark 150th anniversary of Tissot. This special edition automatic chronograph, produced in platinum, gold, steel, and gold/steel versions, is inspired by one of its most prestigious watches dating from 1946. The back, engraved in 19th-century style, incorporates two openings to reveal the gilt oscillating weight marked with the dates 1853 and 2003. The COSC-certified automatic movement is finished with Côtes de Genève decoration.
