McLaren Automotive Celebrate Birth of 675 Long Tail with 4K Video
It has been about 4 months since McLaren took the wraps off its 675 Long Tail at the Geneva Motor Show. The car was slated for exactly 500 units and McLaren have done a good job promoting its new “Super Series” leader by finding purchasers for each and every one of those 500 cars.
The previous group leader, the 650S Coupe had 25 hp and 22Nm of torque fewer while also being about 100 kilograms heavier. The added power and lightness of the 675LT gives it a 0-100km/h sprint time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 330km/h.
To celebrate the start of its production, McLaren have gone the extra mile by bringing us a nice little promotional video in not just HD but 4K. Yes, we’re aware that in the not so distant future, 4K will be the norm, but for now it’s still only available to a handful of people.
