Global Electric Mobility Leaders Take Center Stage at the 3rd E-Mobilia World

The 3rd E-Mobilia World conference is set to provide two full days of insightful presentations and dialogue sessions by top-level automotive executives, technology developers and providers, Government officials, research institutes and financial institutions on an array of topics that will pave the way for sustainable transportation to truly take off in Malaysia.

Organised by Koelnmesse Pte Ltd and co-organised by Malaysian Green Technology Corporation (GreenTech Malaysia), the 3rd E-Mobilia World will be attended by leading international and regional players from automotive giants such as BMW, Renault, Audi, Mazda and Hyundai; esteemed research institutions such as the University of California Davis and Imperial College London; and foreign policy makers including the Norwegian Electric Vehicle Association, Metropolregion Hannover and the U.S. Department of Energy.

For the first time, this year’s E-Mobilia World is being held in conjunction with the International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition and Conference Malaysia (IGEM), offering participants of the Conference a unique opportunity to get a close-up view of cutting-edge technologies from various eco-sectors as well.

E-Mobilia World, themed “Eco, Efficient, Electric – Driving Sustainable Mobility” focuses showcasing the latest developments in the field of sustainable mobility, effective incentivisation strategies and implementation frameworks that have successfully grown the eco-friendly transportation sector in key markets.

With presence from various key implementers, industry experts and policy makers from countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Norway and Japan, who are recognised as amongst the world leaders in sustainable mobility, participants will be able to learn from experts at the forefront of the industry as well as engage in networking opportunities to drive their respective businesses and the green technology sector in Malaysia forward.

In line with the drive to grow the sustainable mobility market, GreenTech Malaysia inked a Memorandum of Understanding with the Dutch-based electric vehicle (EV) charging market leader, The New Motion, to support the expansion of GreenTech Malaysia’s EV charging network – ChargEV. The collaboration will also see The New Motion transfer technical expertise to enable the development of local charger hardware manufacturing and related sub-industries.

The public is encouraged to attend the last day of IGEM on 12th September, where admission for the public is free, to witness and understand the benefits of and the need for green technology. Besides exhibits from world leading green technology brands which will be showcasing the most cutting-edge technologies, visitors can also try their hands at the exciting electric go-karts and electric bicycle tracks.

Visitors on the public day also stand a chance of winning prizes such as the Sony Playstation 4 and the GoPro Hero 4.
