Toyota Rewards Customers Through Buy & Win Contest
UMW Toyota Motor successfully held a ‘Toyota Buy & Win’ contest in a move to delight its customers. The contest was for all Toyota customers who placed their orders at the Toyota WOW Road Tour that ran in several locations nationwide from May to June 2015. Activities at the Toyota WOW Road Tour that were offered included: Drift Taxi Ride with Toyota 86, Vios and Hilux, and On-Road Test Drive which drew energy and excitement from customers. The winners draw for the ‘Toyota Buy & Win’ contest was conducted on 6 August. The contest witnessed three privileged winners return home with a Toyota Vios J (AT) each.
While one of the winners purchased the model of the prized vehicle, Vios J (AT), the other two winners bought a Vios G and a Camry Hybrid respectively. The contest was held in six locations nationwide from up north, to down south, and across the sea to East Malaysia.
They were: Juru Astro City in Penang, East Coast Mall in Kuantan, Bukit Jalil Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Sutera Mall in Johor Bharu, Stadium Likas in Kota Kinabalu, and Batu Kawa New Township in Kuching.
Expressing affinity for the brand, winner Ms. Leong Yeen Yin, who purchased the Vios J (AT) in Penang expressed: “This contest win was especially sweet for me as it was my first ever personal car purchase of a Toyota model. For obvious reasons, I am both happy and excited, and I still can’t believe that I have won a car. With this newly-acquired prize, I plan to embark on a trip to make this win worthwhile.”
Ms. Hei Lay Tin who purchased a Vios G in Johor Bahru said, “I am happy that I won the Buy & Win contest. Due to this, I have encouraged my colleagues to buy Toyota cars too. On top of that, my husband is a loyal fan of Toyota, and has not switched brands ever since owning a Toyota car.”
On the other hand, businessman Mr. Lau Er Kheng who bought a Toyota Camry Hybrid in KL, was at first in denial about winning a car until the win was confirmed by his trusted Toyota Sales Advisor. When asked about his plans, he said he will let his family use the brand new Toyota Vios.
