Gucci New G-Timeless Automatic Variants
Elegant yet contemporary, the G-Timeless collection from Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry is one of the House’s flagship lines. The range, with its smart aesthetic and variety of models and functionalities, is now enhanced with three new automatic extensions.
The three models come in a choice of stainless steel or light yellow-gold PVD case. Released in a wearable 38mm size, the most striking element of these new watches is the eclectic mix of indexes. Traditional numerals are replaced by different symbols in a light yellow-gold color: delicate bees and stars are mixed with plain indexes and a single heart is seen at 7 o’clock. The striking indexes are overlaid onto silver or black dials that display a fine-grain ‘rosette’ guilloché finish, which adds movement to the piece.
The creative design of these G-Timeless automatic variants is matched by fine Swiss watchmaking; these three pieces are equipped with an ETA 2824 movement, and the inner mechanics and oscillating weight can be admired through a transparent case back.
The dials show the ‘Gucci Automatic’ stamp at 12 o’clock and date at 6 o’clock. The final flourish on these unique watches is a black or brown alligator leather strap.
