Mazda RX9 Rotary Looks Ready For Production



We have had no official confirmation from Mazda in Japan for now but reports on the Internet say that this all new rotary supercar from Mazda is confirmed. The final design, power, performance, and specs are still pending However, early reports regarding performance and horsepower figures claim 400hp with a weight around 1300kgs only.


Engine is rumored to be an all new twin-turbocharged 1.6-liter twin-rotor rotary engine, sending power to the rear wheels through either a semi-automatic transmission. The final production version could be waiting for the coming Tokyo Motor Show.
