Celebrate Chinese New Year with New MINI Countryman JCW Design Edition
MINI Malaysia has introduced the stylish new MINI Countryman JCW Design Edition, just in time for the arrival of the New Year of the Rooster.
The latest iteration of the Countryman is fitted with the John Cooper Works Aerodynamic Kit, which includes front splitter, side skirts, side scuttles, rear diffuser and door sill for even more sporty and muscular appearance. It is also dressed with John Cooper Works Sport Stripes which run parallel from the front to back and on the sides of the car, giving the car a more aggressive look and stance.
Additionally, the Countryman JCW Design Edition is the only MINI to offer the new interchangeable LED door projectors. This makes for a special experience when getting into and out of the car wherein as soon as the doors are opened, a graphic – MINI logo, Union Jack flag or JCW logo, take your pick – is projected onto the ground.
Inside, the car features a host of features such as MINI Visual Boost with a 6.5-inch high-resolution colour LCD screen and automatic air-conditioning. It is steered from a sports leather steering wheel with paddle shifters as the driver and passengers are seated in sports seats with leather Gravity Carbon Black upholstery. The interior surface which dressed in Piano Black along with chrome elements.
Apart from the striking appearance, the Countryman JCW Design Edition also offers power and performance, 190 hp and 240 Nm (260 Nm with the Overboost function) to be exact. This enables the car to hit 100 km/h from a standstill in just 7.8 seconds and drive at a top speed of 212 km/h.
The new MINI Countryman JCW Design Edition is available in four paint finishes including Light White, Blazing Red, Starlight Blue and Jungle Green; all with black roof and mirror caps. The retail price (on the road and without insurance) for the new offering with 5-year unlimited mileage warranty with free scheduled service is RM242,888.
It will arrive at all MINI authorized dealerships nationwide with a special Chinese New Year campaign beginning today until March 31 st 2017. The special ownership programme exclusively for the new variant offers a special financing interest rate of 1.25% and includes the Ultimate Protection Programme and Enhanced Road Warrior by MINI Insurance (underwritten by Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Bhd. (735426-V), as well as a 5-Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty with Free Scheduled Service as complimentary.
Throughout the campaign period, all MINI dealerships nationwide will also be organising open houses where visitors and new owners of the new MINI Countryman JCW Design Edition will receive festive ‘Ang Pow’ packets and MINI merchandises for test drives. Guests can also take part in activities for the whole family including Fortune Sticks, MINI Maze, Wheel of Challenges, and Darts of Prosperity where they stand a chance win MINI merchandises for the festive Lunar New Year.
