Penang man wins a Bezza for Perodua Test Drive and Win Contest

A casual test drive turned into a lucky corner for Mr Law Soon Hee, 26, when we was chosen to be the winner of Perodua’s “Test Drive and Win” short message service (SMS) contest which ran from October to December last year.

Mr Law received the new Perodua Bezza 1.3L Advance Variant at the MYPerodua Nation carnival, Perodua’s first and biggest outdoor carnival, held here between 20th January and 22nd January.

 

The MYPerodua Nation carnival was officiated by Perodua Chairman, YBhg Tan Sri Asmat Kamaludin and attended Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer, YBhg Datuk (Dr) Aminar Rashid Salleh; while diamond sponsors for the event are AmGeneral Insurance Bhd and Bank Rakyat.

The contest required a potential Perodua buyer to test drive any Perodua model; answer a simple question and SMS the answer for a chance to win spectacular prizes.

The grand winner is a Perodua Bezza 1.3L Advance Variant (complete with GearUp accessories) while a 5-day, 5-night trip awaits 30 other lucky winners.

The event will also feature live concerts and celebrity appearances fit for the entire family. On the Axia facelift, Dato’ Dr. Zahari said approximately 3,000 bookings has been received from the public since orders were open on 13 January 2017.

Perodua sold 214,700 Axia since it was launched in September 2014 which makes the Axia Malaysia’s No.1 EEV.   In 2016, the entry level compact car sold 85,900 units.

The new Perodua Axia facelift, which includes a new VVT-I engine – an improvement compared with its current KR Engine as well as improved features, is now available at all 181 Perodua sales showrooms nationwide.

The new engine with VVT-I will further boost the Axia’s fuel efficiency up to 22.5Km/L in Eco-Driving mode, compared with the current 21.6 Km/L (manual transmission). The engine replacement will include all current Axia line-up effective on the same date.

Other improvements for the Axia standard include new styling for the front grill and bumper; new backdoor handles; a new seat fabric design; and comes with projector headlamp.

On the entertainment system, Perodua Axia Standard-G audio now comes with USP port.

While for the Axia SE and Advance variants; improvements include new styling front grille and bumper; push start button; smart entry with smart key; multimedia system with ‘Smart Link’ (for android only); new design projector headlamps; new chrome door outer handles; spiral design alloy wheels; new backdoor handle; new seat fabric design (for SE); and meter-combi with new white illumination.

The Perodua Axia (Standard) comes in Ivory White, Glittering Silver, Ebony Black and Midnight Blue. The Lemongrass Green and Cherry Blossom that were introduced during its launch in September 2014 have been dropped.

The SE and Advance Version variants have two (2) additional colours compared with the Axia Standard-G; which are Solid Sunflower Yellow and Metallic Lava Red.

The Peninsular Malaysia price for the new Perodua Axia variant begins from RM24,900 for the Standard-E (manual) to RM42,900 for the Advance (auto).
