In connection with the revision of excise duties by Royal Malaysian Customs Department for MPVs below 1500cc to the previous duty rate of 60%, UMW Toyota Motor Sdn. Bhd. (UMWT) will revise the prices of Toyota models involved effective immediately. With the excise duties reverting to the original 60%, the prices of Toyota Avanza, Sienta and Rush have been changed to the previous price.
Earlier, the prices were changed by the company on 10 th April in reaction to the sudden increase from 60% to 65% in excise duties by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department effective 1 st April.
For customers’ orders collected between 10th to 12th April, UMWT will be using the latest revised price based on 60% excise duty.
