Sky Team, a motorcycle manufacturer based in Hong Kong, has officially launched the new Ace 125 cafe racer in Malaysia. The model features a distinctive retro look and comes with a reasonable price tag that will garner attention.
Powering the Ace 125 is an air-cooled 125 cc, single-cylinder engine that sends 11 hp to the rear wheel through a five-speed transmission. According to the product brochure, the bike has a fuel consumption of 2.1 litre/100 km or 47.6 km/litre. With its 9.2-litre fuel tank, the Ace 125 could theoretically travel more than 400 km before the next refuel.
Measuring 1,910 mm in length, 680 mm in width and 990 mm in height, and with a wheelbase of 1,255 mm, the Ace 125 is rather small. It has an overall dry weight of just 87 kg.
The Ace 125 is equipped with telescopic forks up front and a twin shock suspension at the rear. It has a single front brake disc and a drum brake at the rear, which are tasked to bring the 18-inch wheels to a stop.
Available in Ace Silver, Matte Grey and Racer Blue, the Ace 125 cafe racer can be yours from RM7,366 (OTR including insurance and road tax). Sky Team is offering a single seat option for the first 110 units of the model at no extra cost. The company currently has 153 dealers across the country.
