Harley-Davidson Returns to Malaysia, First in Gasket Alley

American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson, together with DIDI Resources have just announced the brand’s reintroduction into the Malaysian market. Its first dealership, Harley-Davidson of Petaling Jaya is located at The Gasket Alley and is operated by Goh Brothers Motorcycles.

Harley-Davidson owners throughout the country were present at the official opening of this showroom.

The new 20,000 square foot dealership will offer the brand’s entire range of bikes, including the limited edition 115th anniversary Street Glide, Road Glide Special and MY18 Softail laineup. It also showcases Harley-Davidson merchandise as well as official parts and accessories.

Within the centre itself is a best-in-class after-sales service centre completely stocked with parts. In addition, there will be 6 fully equipped service bays and a body and paint centre, all manned by technicians trained at the Harley-Davidson University.

In conjunction with the official opening, Harley-Davidson of Petaling Jaya announced the formation of H.O.G. Petaling Jaya Chapter Malaysia. H.O.G. provides the springboard for dealers to engage, enlist and excite their customers. By managing a chapter, each dealership can localise activities for riders while providing a more personalised service to their most loyal customers.

The inaugural ride will take place on the 10th of March 2018 with 500 participants riding from PJ to Tanjung Malim, Perak. From there, another 1500 Harley-Davidson owners will join them on the trip back to The Gasket Alley for a night of music, food and drinks.
