Swatch Malaysia Issued This Blatantly Racist Invoice to Me

More than a month ago, I visited a Swatch outlet in Midvalley. I was there to give a watch I had bought my mom a polish and a new battery. The battery was free, but the polish cost RM10. The last time I sent a Swatch for polishing, I remember it being free (but that time, I had also purchased a replacement strap). Sensing something up and wanting it on paper, I decided to ask for a receipt. The cashier said something to her colleague in a different language. I thought nothing of it, but after I got home, I checked and saw this on the receipt.

I was busy at the time, so, a week later, I sent a message on Facebook to Swatch Malaysia asking why ‘Indian Indian’ showed up on my receipt. Seems puzzling, right? Are they assuming the races of customers that walk in and officially listing it down? Is there any need to? Was this a practical joke by the cashier? If so, should I be personally offended?

It has been more than 3 weeks… No reply. All I can assume is that they don’t take this seriously at all. Why don’t you let this toy watch company know how you feel about this?
