Jaguar Land Rover Suing Bentley over ‘All Terrain Specs’

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has just filed a 30-page complaint against Bentley in the United States, seeking damages, costs and an injunction against Bentley after spending 2-years trying to get Bentley management to address their issues and complaints about using similar ‘All Terrain Specs’ in the Bentyaga without much success.

JLR claim that Bentley’s All Terrain Specification (an option) includes a Drive Dynamics system which offers Snow, Ice & Wet Grass, Dirt & Gravel, Mud & Trail and Sand modes, just like the Range Rover’s Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud and Ruts, Sand, and Rocks modes.

Land Rover has 70 years of experience with 4-wheel drive systems even though most of its owners/drivers never leave the smooth tarmac and Bentley comes to the market with Volkswagen Group 4×4 technology which has just been seen in action at Pikes Peak.
