Honda MSX 125 SF Launched – RM10,499
Boon Siew Honda has introduced the latest version of the MSX 125 SF, which now comes in four new colours, namely Incredible Green, Halloween Orange, Splendid Blue and Gayety Red. These colours will replace the existing colour schemes.
Launched in the Malaysian market for the first time in December 2016, the MSX 125 is known to be a fun and practical motorcycle. The updated version retains the easy-to-read LCD instrument panel, as well as the iconic LED projector headlight and LED rear light.
Powered by an air-cooled 125 cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine, this motorcycle has a maximum power of 9.7 hp at 7,000 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 5,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a four-speed gearbox by a multiplate wet clutch system, which transfer power to the rear wheel via chain drive.
Fuel is fed by a fuel injection system to achieve the highest possible mileage from the 5.7-litre fuel tank, while Electric Auto Start with a 3.5 Ah 12-volt battery makes starting an ease.
The bike weighs 104 kg fully fueled, with a dimension of 1,755 mm in length, 730 mm in width and 1,000 mm in height.
It is fitted with an upside-down telescopic front suspension, balanced by a monoshock in the rear. Hydraulic disc brakes are fitted at both ends to ensure ample stopping power.
The price for the new Honda MSX 125 SF is RM10,499 (0% GST, excluding road tax, insurance and registration). Boon Siew Honda offers a two-year or 20,000-km manufacturing warranty.
