Honda Vario 150 Now in Malaysia – From RM7,199

Boon Siew Honda has launched yet another automatic transmission (AT) model into the Malaysian market. Known as the Vario 150, the scooter offers a combination of sporty styling, exciting performance and value-for-money features.

The company says it noticed a growing popularity for AT models especially among young riders who seek quality features with an affordable price tag. Having understood the market demand, the company saw a great potential in the segment and decided to introduce the new model.

The Vario 150 is powered by a 150 cc liquid-cooled four-stroke engine that churns out 13.1 PS at 8,500 rpm and 13.4 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The engine is equipped with eSP technology and Idling Stop System (ISS) to provide a balance of riding performance and fuel efficiency.

It comes with a plethora of value-added features such as dual LED headlights, LED taillight, LCD digital meter panel, Smart Key System, 14-inch wheels, wavy brake discs, as well as an 18-litre underseat compartment and a double inner rack for user convenience.

As for safety, the Vario 150 comes with a Combi Brake System (CBS) that helps to balance the braking system across the front and rear wheels to reach an optimal standard.

The Vario 150 is priced at RM7,199 for the normal version (available in Pearl Magellanic Black, Pearl Nightfall Blue and Force Silver Metallic) and RM7,399 for the Repsol Edition. It comes with a two-year or 20,000-km manufacturing warranty.
