Volvo Car Malaysia Launches New Showroom in Melaka
Volvo Car Malaysia today launched its newest showroom on Jalan Tun Sri Lanang in Melaka, together with its dealer Seong Hoe Motors Sdn Bhd.
The full-fledged 3S centre (Sales, Service and Spare Parts) aims to further strengthen the brand’s presence on the west coast.
Volvo Car Malaysia has experienced rapid expansion in its dealership network since the start of its transformation programme, spearheaded by its Managing Director, Mr Lennart Stegland, more than two years ago.
The transformation plan saw new dealer standards such as the Volvo Retail Experience (VRE), being implemented in Volvo dealerships across the country. VRE is a comprehensive standard that covers critical aspects of a dealership: from the look and feel of the showroom to the quality of service rendered to customers.
“We are focusing on creating a consistent consumer experience that reflects our core values. It is important that we maintain the Scandinavian-inspired appeal of our cars in our showrooms and the service centres as well,” said Stegland.
Volvo Melaka will be led by Mr Chua Beng Poh, the CEO of Seong Hoe Motors Sdn Bhd, an established dealer with close to 50 years of experience in the automotive trade with several continental car brands under its belt.
The new 3S dealership will also feature a six-bay service centre that can take in the brand’s latest Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles such as the XC90, XC60, and S90 T8 Twin Engine.
The Volvo Showroom in Melaka opens from 9:00 am till 6:00 pm on Monday to Saturday and from 11:00 am till 5:00 pm on Sundays and Public Holidays.
