BMW Group Lumps Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa into one ‘Sales Region’

As part of BMW Group’s new corporate strategy, they’ve reorganised the parts of the world where they have a ‘great growth potential’ into one.

So, as strange as it is to consider, countries in Asia Pacific (that’s us) are now parked under the same ‘single sales region’ as countries in Africa, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. What they mean by ‘Asia Pacific’ is everything in the region besides China. And what they mean by ‘Eastern Europe’ is everything outside the European Union (but probably not the UK).

I wonder what this will mean for BMW Group Malaysia’s product strategy going forward.
