TVR’s Return Has been Delayed to 2020 Thanks to EU Regulations

The long-awaited return of TVR has been delayed once more. Production of their upcoming Griffith model will not meet expected deadlines according to the website AutoRAI. TVR had initially planned for the production of this supercar to begin in late 2018. Well, that has clearly not happened.

The delay is down to regulations that have stopped upgrades to the TVR factory in Wales.

Because the Welsh government has a 3% ownership stake in TVR, the company has to open bidding for its factory renovation to the entirety of the EU.

In the meantime, owners and fans alike can only ogle at pictures of the Cosworth-powered Griffith.
