Mercedes-Benz E 350 AMG Line Leads Refreshed E-Class Lineup

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has launched the new E-Class range, which is comprised of the range-topping E 350 AMG Line, as well as the E 300 Exclusive Line and the E 200 SPORTSTYLE Avantgarde.

E 350 AMG Line (RM399,888)

As the name suggests, the E 350 AMG Line comes with the brawny AMG bodystyling paired with 19-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels.

Complementing its aggressive look is the new twin-turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that gives a total system output of 299 hp and 400 Nm of torque. A belt-driven starter generator provides an additional 150 Nm, allowing the sedan to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.

New in the car is the Driving Assistance Package, a safety package of several safety technologies, which help to avoid collision while enhancing the car’s standard safety features. It is also equipped with the Dynamic Body Control suspension with adjustable damping.

E 300 Exclusive Line (RM379,888)

Positioned between the E 350 AMG Line and E 200 Sportstyle Avantgarde, the E 300 Exclusive Line sports an elegant look thanks to the classic Mercedes radiator grille and the iconic star on the bonnet.

It also comes with the similar 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine with 258 hp and 370 Nm of torque. In terms of performance, this variant needs 6.2 seconds to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h, 1.3 seconds faster than the E 200.

The E 300 Exclusive Line is complemented by the Lane Tracking package which includes the Blind Spot Assist and Lane Keeping Assist to ensure the driver does not drift into other traffic.

E 200 SPORTSTYLE Avantgarde (RM329,888)

The entry-level variant in the new E-Class range comes with the Avantagarde exterior with additional chrome trim as well as 18-inch 5-spoke light-alloy wheels.

The Sportstyle package adds a chrome louvre below the front bumper, a badge on the front wing, a chrome trim element in the rear bumper in high-gloss black, and visible tailpipe embellishers.

The E 200 features a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine that churns 197 hp and a maximum torque of 320 Nm. It now comes with Blind Spot Assist as part of the safety and assistance package.
