Porsche Macan Premium Package to Launch in Malaysia
Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) has announced that the new Porsche Macan Premium Package will be unveiled in Malaysia on 21st June 2019 at Porsche Centre Sungai Besi.
With a starting price of RM455,000 (inclusive of a four-year warranty, and free maintenance package including parts and labour), the Porsche Macan Premium Package comes with additional comfort and luxury features such as:
- 14-way power seats including memory function for both driver and front passenger
- comfort lighting package
- Power Steering Plus
- Park Assist including reversing camera
- automatic dimming mirrors
- BOSE Surround Sound System
In terms of appearance, the new Macan front end has been thoroughly redesigned and now appears wider, while the rear features a three-dimensional LED light panel combined with four-point brake lights.
Four new exterior colours are available for the new Macan – Mamba Green Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, Miami Blue and Crayon. LED headlights come as standard while the Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS Plus) is available optionally.
The new Macan also gets the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system with a 10.9-inch full-HD touchscreen (previously 7.2 inches). As in the Panamera and Cayenne, the user interface can be adapted to suit personal requirements via predefined tiles. Fully interconnected as standard, the new system features mobile phone preparation, two audio interfaces and intelligent voice control.
Power comes from a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which delivers 252 hp and a maximum torque of 370 Nm. In combination with its seven-gear PDK dual-clutch gearbox, the Macan sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 225 km/h. Its consumption rate is 8.1 l/100 km.
As is typical for a sports car, the Macan comes with mixed-size tyres, enabling the driver to take full advantage of the benefits of the all-wheel drive Porsche Traction Management (PTM) system. The wheel diameters range from 18 inches as standard to an optional 21 inches.
SDAP is also offering an expanded range of options with enhanced assist systems with the new Macan. It includes a GT sports steering wheel with an integrated mode switch and a sport response button, a heated windshield as well as an air ioniser.
On the occasion of the new dealer website launch (https://dealer.porsche.com/malaysia), SDAP is also announcing the attractive monthly ownership fee from RM5,700 for the new Macan through the 360 Financing Calculator.
