Proton Saga 2019 Arrives With Geely’s Help
They saved the best for last!
Geely has been hard at work reviving the Proton brand in Malaysia and they have managed to bring customers back to their showrooms in droves. Yes, Proton is seeing a revival of its image and financials.
They started with the X70 SUV to get the attention of Malaysians who mostly love SUV’s in one form or another.
Then they revised the Iriz compact hatch and the Persona sedan which has been sitting in car parks waiting for buyers.
After making sure the stock of parts needed to put together an Iriz and Persona was well used up to deliver revised cars to Malaysian buyers they turned their attention to an ageing product, the Exora MPV.
Geely together with Proton engineers have managed to revive the product lineup with success and it is actually sending its nearest rivals to the product panning scoreboard looking at ways to counter this new product advance.
Now comes the final product rebuild. The 2019 Saga with ‘Intelligent Proposition’. Arriving in all Proton showrooms this week, stay tuned for its price and new features.
