New Mitsubishi Triton Quest Launched: Most Affordable Pick-Up at RM80K

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia have launched a new Triton Quest — the low-rider variant of their popular Triton hi-rider pick-up. The truck is priced at RM79,890, making it the most affordable pick-up truck in the country by a small margin.

The New Triton Quest

The new Triton Quest is a versatile workhorse that has everything customers need to make driving easier, including a powerful engine, robust control and spacious cabin. The Triton Quest comes with a stylish design with a ‘sedan’ outlook.

Priced at RM79,890.00, the Triton Quest is the most affordable pick-up truck in the market and comes with five years warranty or 100,000km (whichever comes first).

For convenience, the Triton Quest is designed for easy loading because of its close distance from the ground to the tailgate. The Triton Quest also comes with a rear seat secret storage compartment, easy-to-reach yet far from prying eyes.

For storage, the Triton Quest comes with a massive load capacity of up to 970 KG inclusive of passengers and cargo, making it the biggest cargo deck in the low rider category. Its functional J-Line design gives more room and comfort for rear passengers while retaining a spacious cargo.

The Triton Quest is powered by 2.5-litre turbo-charged diesel engine for greater power, acceleration and efficiency that gives customers the perfect truck for all kinds of needs. The Triton Quest produces 110 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque.

For control, the Triton Quest comes with the Best-In-Class turning radius of 5.7m, making it easier to handle and drive on narrow roads and crowded working sites.

The Triton Quest comes with an array of safety features that will entice customers. It includes Seatbelts with Pretentioners, Electronic Time and Alarm Control System (ETACS) which comes with Lane Change Turn Signal System, Power Window Timer, Headlamp Auto off Function, Open Door Alarm, Auto Door Relock System, Auto Speed Adjustable Wipers and a 15-second interior light delay which allows the cabin light to remain on for the next 15 seconds after switching off the car.

In addition, The Triton Quest is also equipped with dual SRS airbags and Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD). The safety features of the Triton Quest are further strengthened by a strong Mitsubishi Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body construction.

Besides that, the Triton Quest adds on Multi-Information Display that gives vital information about the truck such as mileage range travelled, service reminder, fuel range and average fuel consumption.
