Circontrol electric vehicle charging units now in Malaysia
Aftermarket electric vehicle (EV) charger supplier, Circontrol is launching its range of products in Malaysia through Industrial Automation (M) Sdn Bhd as the official distributor.
Based in Spain, Circontrol offers wallboxes, charging posts, quick chargers, as well as Dynamic Load Management software for those operating fleets of EVs.
For private homes, the company offers the Wallbox eHome and Wallbox eNext which have an ABS plastic housing that’s UV resistant for longetivity. They are also IP54 protected, meaning they are partially protected from contact with harmful dust and sprays/splashes of water.
Specifically, the Wallbox eHome comes with a Type 2 cable and provides 7.4kW of power. It is priced at RM5,300 including installation (additional charges applies outside Klang Valley).
For those who need quick charging solutions, Circontrol DC Chargers like the Raption 50 can return hundreds of kilometres of electric range in just half an hour.
These Fast Charging stations feature modular power technology and power scalability to keep them cost effective and relevant to future advances in EV battery tech.
Circontrol has been around since 1997 and has since deployed over 55,000 charging points across 60 countries. The company also works with brands like Nissan, Audi and Volkswagen on providing Original Equipment charging solutions.
