Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 Could Rival the Ford Ranger Raptor

When Sime Darby Auto Connexion debuted the Ford Ranger Raptor in late 2018, few thought it would be the hot seller that it eventually became. Today we ask why Isuzu Malaysia hasn’t brought in their equivalent to Malaysia for a similar success story?

We found this Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 for sale on the company’s UK website. Arctic Trucks are a specialists when it comes to re-engineering off-roaders for more challenging conditions.

They’ve done dozens of engineering projects, including that one AT38 Hilux that was taken to both the South and North poles.

The D-Max AT35 gets the same 1.9L R4ZE 4-cylinder turbo diesel that was just debuted in the facelifted Malaysian D-Max, so there shouldn’t be a problem adapting this vehicle for Malaysian fuel. And just like the Ranger Raptor, this version of the D-Max comes with Fox Performance Suspension. Here is how the D-Max AT35 is equipped in the UK:
