BR 03-92 GREY LUM arrives to provide optimal legibility
There are not many watches that can stand out like a Bell & Ross on any persons wrist. These models, with micro‐blasted steel or matte ceramic cases, have exceptional display qualities thanks to the application of Super‐LumiNova® C3. A classic Bell & Ross style of display ‐ the effectiveness of which speaks for itself. Reminiscent of the historic matte colour of vintage tritium military watches, Super‐ LumiNova® C3 does not deteriorate over time, has no clear toxic effects linked to radioactivity and maintains a constant daytime colour. Even better, the brightness charge and discharge cycles are endless and never alter the efficacy of the timepiece. Extremely powerful, Super‐LumiNova® C3 recharges quickly in terms of photoluminescence and has exceptional light intensity qualities. Even more impressive is the time it takes for light to return to the hands, indices and numerals – significantly faster than other types of Super‐LumiNova® widely used on the market and offering unrivalled photoluminescence.
The latest addition to the LUM collection, the BR03‐92 GREY LUM, boasts optimal legibility thanks to the Super‐LumiNova® C3 treatment which makes it legible both day and night. The design of its dial is uncompromising with its anthracite grey colour and sunray pattern, the colour of the hands (hours, minutes) and the large decal numerals (3, 6, 9, 12) and indices echoing the lights found on runways. This intense green light with an unrivalled brightness, known for its ultra‐phosphorescence. This was achieved using green Super‐LumiNova® C3, with 100% relative brightness making it the winner in its category, meaning it can always be read both day and night. This year, Bell & Ross unveils the BR03‐92 GREY LUM with an anthracite dial coated in Super‐ LumiNova® C3; as the LUM theme is one of the brand’s true signatures.
Designed according to the principles of industrial aesthetics, the BR03‐92 GREY LUM is designed on a square case, which is instantly evocative of aeronautical and aviation instrument panels. As is the case for all timepieces created by Bell & Ross, this new reference bears the brand’s DNA thanks to its minimalist design and the ultra‐legibility of the Super‐LumiNova® C3 on the numerals, indices and hands on the dial. The design of the BR03‐92 GREY LUM embodies the spirit of instrument watches. With a contemporary style, the case features the iconic Bell & Ross “circle in a square” design that refers to the silhouette of an aeroplane cockpit clock.
This new, masculine timepiece features a satin‐polished steel case which lends the piece a bold, urban sport‐chic look. Extremely elegant, the anthracite grey dial with sunray pattern captures the light and plays with its reflections. Driven by a Swiss mechanical movement with automatic winding, the BR03‐92 GREY LUM provides all the precision and robustness associated with this line. It is fitted with a grey‐green velvet calfskin strap, reflecting the green colours of the Super‐LumiNova® C3 treatment. A strap made from ultra‐resilient fabric and black Velcro provides the final touches to this contemporary kit.
