HICOM Automotive Restarts Operations
HICOM Automotive Manufacturers (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has announced the resumption of manufacturing operations at its Pekan plant starting 13 May following approval from the local authority.
According to a memo dated 12 May 2020, employees of the company are required to undergo COVID-19 screening and comply with the health Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) previously issued by the State Government of Pahang.
A subsidiary of DRB-HICOM Berhad, HICOM Automotive specializes in assembly of passenger cars and commercial vehicles for several brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Suzuki, Mercedes-Benz Actros and Mitsubishi Fuso.
