New 11-Seater Kia Grand Carnival Launched in Malaysia
The new Kia Grand Carnival has been officially launched in Malaysia. Priced at RM179,888 (on-the-road without insurance), the MPV now seats up to 11 passengers thanks to its Multiflex seating configurations.
According to Naza Kia, the configurations allow an adjustable seating layout to meet the needs of the modern family. The seats can even be adjusted to 6, 7, or 8-seater layouts should the need arise.
Like the eight-seater version, the 11-seater Grand Carnival is powered by a 2.2-litre TCI diesel engine that makes 200 PS at 3,800 rpm and 440 Nm of torque from 1,750 rpm. An eight-speed automatic transmission is tasked to send the output to the front wheels.
The Grand Carnival can be had in four colours, namely Snow White Pearl, Silky Silver, Aurora Black Pearl and Panthera Metal. It comes with a five-year manufacturer’s warranty.

The MPV rides on 18-inch clean silver alloy wheels wrapped in 235/60 tyres giving the large vehicle a better grip and a smoother ride on the road. With four different seat configurations that are adaptable based on the family’s needs, roominess and comfort serve as inspiration behind the design of this ultimate MPV.
Its exclusive look on the front also features the halogen projector head lamps and halogen projector fog lamps. Designed with style and comfort in mind, the MPV features power sliding doors on both sides of the vehicle which can be opened manually or automatically with just the flick of a switch, a 3.5-inch mono LCD cluster meter and shark-fin antenna.
The MPV brings more value and convenience to families being equipped with new upgrades such as a new roof rack, automatic windows with safety lock, 7.0-inch touchscreen HMI (human-machine interface) which houses Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, voice recognition at the steering wheel control and an additional USB charging port on its fourth row.
