Bridgestone Appointed OE Supplier For Perodua Ativa

Offering comfort, quietness and safety, the Turanza T005A is the perfect fit for Perodua’s compact crossover

The recently-launched Perodua Ativa has taken Malaysia by storm thanks to its impressive equipment levels and highly affordable price range, allowing buyers to get the most bang for their buck.

As a refresher, the Daihatsu Rocky-based crossover is offered in three variants, namely the X (from RM61,500), H (from RM66,100) and AV (from RM71,200).

While features like the turbocharged 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine, automatic LED headlamps, ASA 3.0 and Lane Departure Warning and Prevention are made standard across all variants, only the H and AV are equipped with the larger 17-inch wheels, making them appear more stylish and rugged. The entry-level Ativa X, meanwhile, makes do with 16-inch wheels.

These two variants will roll off the production line in Rawang donning Bridgestone Turanza T005A premium touring tyres, which according to Bridgestone Malaysia, promise “a smooth journey with first class comfort, superior quietness and assured safety.”

Available at Bridgestone Select (B-Select) and Bridgestone Pro Shop across the country, the Turanza T005A tyres feature the Nano Pro-Tech compound that strengthens the bond between silica and polymer. As a result, heat generation and energy loss are reduced, which in turn improves safety and gives better performance in wet driving.

The Ativa is Perodua’s newly launched Compact SUV.

The Turanza T005A is a premium high performance tyre that offers a smooth journey with first class comfort, superior quietness and assured safety. The tyre has been improved at the molecular level, with Bridgestone introducing its exclusive Nano Pro-TechTM compound for this tyre. The new compound is engineered to strengthen the bond between silica and polymer to increase the contact area, resulting in reduced heat generation and energy loss, leading to better wet performance and safety.
