MOFAZ Gives Up Its Honda Dealership In Ara Damansara

Also given up its Mercedes-Benz dealership in Langkawi.

Is this the start of a string of well established car business tycoons moving away from the business that made them millionaires or is it just economic reasons?

Well the signs have been showing for some time already and news reports have been popping up online about car showrooms that might be forced to shut down due to Covid-19 lockdowns.

MOFAZ dealership retired

Well, MOFAZ under the name of Millennium Auto & Carriage is about to exit the Honda franchisee business and the showroom will continue to operate with a brand new operator so the transition will be completely seamless with all staff remaining with the new operator and it is business as usual for their loyal customers.

So Honda vehicles owners from this dealership, please note that nothing has changed on the ground and you will be accorded the same 101 percent of attention and care by the new dealership operator.

MOFAZ has been a Honda dealer for almost 20 years (opening its doors in November 2001) and it has been a success story for them. Located at Lot number 2007, Wisma MOFAZ, Jalan Damansara, 60000 Kuala Lumpur, this an authorized dealer and 3S service centre.

MOFAZ owner, Haji Mohamed Fauzy bin Abdul Hamid (Haji Fauzy), is also a used car approved permit holder and importer and about three decades ago he was also the biggest leisure boat dealer (MOFAZ Marine) in Malaysia based in Langkawi.

Established since 1977, MOFAZ, founded by started off humbly as a trading house, which dealt primarily with Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) as well as import and export of primary commodities.

Through sound business management and prudent expansion planning, MOFAZ underwent several metamorphoses over the years to evolve into a dynamic consortium that incorporates leisure marine industries, automotive, general aviation services, property development and construction, hospitality and especially motorsports, of which MOFAZ is really passionate about.

Many will remember the go-kart circuits built and managed by Haji Fauzy’s sons (around the country) who are famous racing drivers with racing experience from around the globe.

MOFAZ has also given up its Mercedes-Benz dealership in the duty free island of Langkawi. The dealership located at Lot 946, Jalan Padang Matsirat, 07100 Langkawi, Kedah Darul Aman was bought over recently and is still open for business on the island.

The MOFAZ Exotic Car Sdn Bhd Mercedes-Benz dealership at Lot 422 – 425, Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra, 15200 Kota Bahru, Kelantan Darul Naim remains with them and there is no plans to give up this outlet in their home state.
