Honda Malaysia Customer Programs For The Rest Of 2021
For the rest of 2021, Honda Malaysia will be running two programs for customer protection and peace of mind.
To kick off October, Honda Malaysia is introducing two new programs for their customers – Customer Car Loan Protection Program and the Vaccinated Customer Program.
Commenting on the two programs, Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Ms. Madoka Chujo said, “We are mindful that having ownership of a personal mode of transport to commute safely with one’s family is an important need for most Malaysians. By introducing the enhanced Customer Car Loan Protection Program, we aim to help our customers by providing them with some financial support to ease their monthly installments should the customer be unexpectedly out of employment. This enhanced personal accident insurance initiative is to protect the car loan of new Honda customers so that they can continue to enjoy their new car with peace of mind and without disruptions.”
About the Customer Car Loan Protection
Honda Malaysia are offering up to RM39,000 total coverage for customers buying their vehicles on loan for the rest of the year. If you register a new Honda vehicle between 1st October 2021 and 31st December 2021 with hire purchase, your car loan will be protected by Honda Malaysia for the first year.
Job Loss Protection
Should you lose your job in the first year of car ownership, Honda Malaysia will subsidise your loan by RM12,000. This is double the amount previously offered by insurance coverage.
The Customer Car Loan Protection Program also extends to death or permanent disability coverage worth RM20,000. This is also double what was previously offered. You’ll also be entitled to RM2,000 in burial or cremation coverage and Repatriation expenses worth RM5,000.
About the Vaccinated Customer Program
The Vaccinated Customer Program also begins this month.
To encourage vaccination, Honda Malaysia will give all-new Honda customers a service voucher worth RM250 with 1-year validity if:
- they are registered for the national vaccination program OR
- they have received vaccination confirmation and appointment OR
- they have partially or fully vaccinated
All you have to do is complete your new Honda registration before the end of the year and show proof that they fall into one of the three above categories via MySejahtera.
“This program is an initiative by Honda Malaysia to support the Malaysian Government’s vaccination program and to encourage people to get vaccinated in an effort to achieve herd immunity. We strongly believe that these programs that we have initiated will help support our customers to tide through this difficult period and more importantly, we wish to share with them the joy of owning a Honda car,” added Ms.Chujo.
Honda dealerships nationwide have commenced operations under the National Recovery Plan (NRP) with strict compliance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as announced by the Government and Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). In September 2021, all Honda dealerships nationwide have participated in the I’m Vaccinated’ campaign, and all Honda dealer associates on duty are already fully vaccinated.
