BMW X4 xDrive30i M Sport Facelift Launched In Malaysia
The BMW X4 facelift has been introduced to the Malaysian market.
BMW Malaysia has introduced the ‘Life Cycle Impulse’ or facelifted model of the X4. As before, the BMW X4 is available as the xDrive30i M Sport and is locally-assembled. It was introduced alongside the facelifted X3.
The new BMW X4 xDrive30i M Sport is powered by a B48 2.0L 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo petrol motor tuned to 252hp and 350Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a ZF-sourced 8-speed conventional automatic. The new X4 comes with adaptive suspension, unlike the X3.
New BMW X4 Looks
The facelifted X4 comes with new visual updates. This includes a new, larger, conjoined kidney grille, a new front apron design with vertical air intakes, new bumpers, and slimmer LED headlights. There are new 20″ alloy wheels, full-LED taillights with 3D contouring with new, larger tailpipes along with free-form exhaust tips. The X4 gets vertically positioned reflectors and a rear bumper with new inserts.
The M Sport Package is standard on the X4 with larger air intakes, specific front aprons and new colour offerings and interior trim finishers.
Inside, you’ll find a larger, touch-enabled 10.25″ Control Display running BMW Operating System 7. BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant has been improved for window and AC control over voice. BMW Maps has also been added. The instrument dials are fully digital with BMW Live Cockpit Professional.
Zinc-plated elements have been added to air vents, and there are new control elements beneath the display. Sport seats with pronounced side bolsters.
Driving Aids, Options, and Package
The BMW X4 xDrive30i is equipped with Lane Change Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Front Collision Warning with brake intervention, Parking Assistant and Reversing Assistant.
It is available in Malaysia in Alpine White, Piemont Red, Phytonic Blue and Carbon Black. Leather Vernasca Black with Contrast Stitching is standard with Leather Vernasca Tacora Red is available on Alpine White and Carbon Black exteriors.
The BMW X4 comes with a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty with Free Scheduled Service Programme, BMW Roadside Assistance and Accident Hotline, BMW Group Loyalty+ Mobile App and BMW Service Online. It is available for RM398,800 with SST but without insurance.
