Jeep Now Has… An Electric Scooter
The Jeep brand has to evolve with the times. So, an electric scooter it is.
The Jeep brand may be missing from Malaysia, but there are still many fans here. They might be interested in knowing that the brand is evolving over time, moving further from its rough, off-roader image by the day. The latest evolution comes in the form of an electric scooter – a collaboration done with Razor – no, not Razer the electronics brand. Razor, the scooter brand.
While an electric scooter probably isn’t one might expect from the Jeep brand, you also have to remember that the Jeep brand is still alive and selling vehicles in 2022. That means that it can’t escape electrification and has to keep up with the times. In the USA and many other markets, it already sells many hybrid electric vehicles under the 4Xe brand.
This electric scooter is called the Jeep RX200 and it sticks to the brand’s aesthetic by being offered only in Army Green. It’s also as off-road ready as electric scooters can get with wide 8″ pneumatic tyres. It has a top speed of 19km/h and is made for adults ages 18 and up. 40 minutes of riding is expected out of a single full charge.
