Honda HR-V Launched In Malaysia From RM114,800-RM140,800
The long-awaited Honda HR-V has arrived in Malaysia with three engine options and four trim levels.
Honda Malaysia today launched the all-new Honda HR-V crossover. This is technically the third car to feature the HR-V nameplate and a direct successor to the outgoing model.
The Malaysian market is rather special in that it receives three powertrain options: the 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated engine (HR-V 1.5L S), two variants of the 1.5-litre turbocharged engine (HR-V 1.5L E and 1.5L V) as well as the full-spec Hybrid model (HR-V 1.5L e:HEV RS).
Pricing is as follows, (OTR with SST without insurance):
- Honda HR-V 1.5L S : RM114,800
- Honda HR-V 1.5L Turbo E: RM129,800
- Honda HR-V 1.5L Turbo V: RM134,800
- Honda HR-V 1.5L e:HEV RS: RM140,800
In terms of power output, here’s how the three powertrains compare:
- 1.5L naturally-aspirated engine with CVT:
- 121PS and 145NM of torque
- 0-100km/h in 12.1 seconds
- 5.9L/100km
- 1.5L turbocharged engine with CVT:
- 181PS and 240NM of torque
- 0-100km/h in 8.7 to 8.8 seconds (depending on wheel size)
- 6.5L/100km
- 1.5L e:HEV powertrain with e-CVT:
- 107PS (+131PS electric) and 131NM (+254NM electric) of torque
- 0-100km/h in 10.7 seconds
- 4.1L/100km
